About the program

Axis Manipal School of Banking Technologies is a fully residential program which will equip you to excel in the emerging banking technologies. The program runs for 4 months which includes, 11 weeksof classroom training at Axis Manipal School of Banking Technologies, Bangalore and 5 weeks On Job Training with Axis Bank. With this program Manipal and Axis Bank are charting new frontiers and intend to create a team of tech savvy bankers ready to challenge the technology disruptions.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

It is a dual benefit program that offers PG Diploma along with a job guarantee. Here is what it has to offer:
1. Guaranteed job & Earning Potential:

  • Guaranteed job at HDFC Life with a cost to the company of Rs 3,00,000* (Three lakhs only) per annum plus incentives on successful course completion.
  • Performance based sales incentives over and above the salary.
  • After successful completion of this course, candidate will be hired by HDFC Life as Front line Sales professional, at J2 band which is a level above the entry level for similar job roles.
2. Post Graduate Diploma in Insurance:
It is an AICTE approved Diploma course offered by Manipal Education Services in association with HDFC Life.
3.Contours of the training
  • Phase 1- Four months of Classroom training with a monthly allowance of Rs 2,500.
  • Phase 2 -Two months of On-the-job training with no monthly allowance.
  • Phase 3 - Six month internship with a stipend of Rs 16,000/-* per month
*All payments will be subject to prevailing tax laws and other statutory deductions


HDFC Life promises the job of a Front Line Sales executive, to all who successfully complete all the phases of the training. The job involves one to sell life insurance through channel partners of HDFC Life (like bank/NBFC/Brokers etc) OR through individual agents OR directly to customers.
Life insurance sales, being a very rewarding sales career offers opportunities to earn incentives which can be an additional cherry on the cake for all those who are passionate in sales.
The placement of the candidate may be any of the distribution channels where HDFC Life may have a requirement.


Total duration of the course is 12 months. The contours of the training are as mentioned below:

  • Phase 1- Four months of classroom training with a monthly allowance of Rs 2,500/-.
  • Phase 2 -Two months On-the-job training (OJT) with no monthly allowance.
  • Phase 3 – Six month internship with a stipend of Rs 16,000/-* per month
*All payments will be subject to prevailing tax laws and other statutory deductions


The program offers a guaranteed job with HDFC Life with CTC is Rs 3,00,000* (Three lakhs only) per annum plus incentives. Preconditions of the job are primarily successful completion of all the phases of the training. In addition to this, specific conduct and education related conditions have been mentioned in the Provisional Offer Letter.

These conditions require you to be a Graduate before enrolling for the Program.

A successful completion of the training would mean timely completion of all assignments, quizzes, assessments during the training phase and having minimum attendance and meeting the assigned targets during the OJT and internship phase.

HDFC Life will issue you a provisional offer letter that will stand confirmed after you complete all phases of the training successfully. The offer letter will very clearly mention the terms and conditions of employment, including applicable statutory and tax deductions.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

It is a three step selection process:

Step 1: Your profile will be shortlisted by HDFC Life basis your qualification, interest and flair for Sales and English language comprehension.
Step 2: An Online Cognitive Ability and Online Communication Assessment will be administered by HDFC Life. This test will be virtually proctored through video-taping. Successful clearance of step 2 will take you to step 3.
Step 3: Interview will be conducted by HDFC Life to validate verbal communication and other critical skills required by the job on offer.
Step 3 will conclude in final Selection/Rejection decision for the course.


You will be required to submit the following documents before the course enrolment:

  • Resume
  • PAN card & AADHAR (Mandatory)
  • College Marks sheet and Degree.
  • Passport size photographs
  • Relieving letter from your last employer will be required if you have been or are a working professional


No. You need to be a graduate before joining the program.


ON-THE-JOB TRAINING & INTERNSHIP

OJT will be conducted in HDFC Life branches which will be allotted to you after you complete the online training. No allowance will be paid during this period.


No, HDFC Life will assign the OJT location to you. We will try and accommodate you in your base location or closest HDFC Life office or partner office to your base location.


Internship will be done at HDFC Life branches and will be for six months. You will be paid a stipend of Rs.16000* per month. You will also be eligible for incentives for achieving business targets as per the prevailing incentive scheme (if applicable).

No, the responsibility of incurring all the expenses will lie with you. HDFC Life will not reimburse any of your expenses incurred during this period.
